After graduating cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Ms. Levesque pursued a law degree from the Washington College of Law at American University in Washington, D.C. Ms. Levesque started working in immigration law in 2004 as a paralegal. After finishing law school and passing the Maryland bar, she obtained her law license in 2007. Shortly thereafter she passed the Idaho State Bar.
Ms. Levesque founded Levesque Law PLLC in May of 2010. Her practice focuses on all aspects of immigration law with emphasis on litigation, removal defense, family-based immigration, and immigration based on benefits available to survivors of crime. Angela Levesque helped found and is chair of the Idaho chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She is an active member in the legal community – serving as a mentor to volunteer attorneys, teaching Continuing Legal Education courses to Idaho lawyers, and mentoring law students.
Attorney Levesque’s passion is helping the immigrant community. The child of Colombian immigrants, Ms. Levesque has a unique understanding of the difficulties in navigating the labyrinth of immigration law and bureaucracy. She aims to find solutions to difficult problems and to walk clients, step-by-step, through their cases. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Ms. Levesque is a member of the Maryland and Idaho bars and has been admitted to practice in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
